Students from Taiwan gathered together in Huaxi to study folk culture. On July 10th, the 10th Taiwan University Student Training Camp consisting of more than 80 college students from Taipei University, Fu Jen University, and Taiwan University of Science and Technology visited Guizhou Minzu University. Honorary Head of the 10th Taiwan University Research Camp, Zhou Wei, Chairman of the Taiwan Xiande Xifu Culture and Education Foundation, Yang Nong, Member of the Party Committee of the China Vocational Education Society, Deputy Director General of the China Vocational Education Association, Fei Fei, Guizhou Vocational Education, He Dongxu, Director of the Social Development Division, accompanied. Wei Wei, vice president of Guizhou Minzu University, attended the exchange sharing meeting.
The study camp visited the pottery craft workshop, art school and library in Huaxi Campus of our school to experience the charm of Guizhou folk culture and the achievements of Guizhou higher education.
In the pottery craft workshop, the students visited the ceramic art works of our students and watched the production process of pottery art.

The camp and the team visited the local literature of Guizhou under the guidance of the teachers of our library and learned about the restoration of ancient cultural relics.

The exchange sharing meeting will be held in the fifth conference room of the administrative building. Wei Wei, vice president of Guizhou Minzu University, and the principals of the United Front Work Department, the Ministry of Education, the Library, and the College of Arts, Ren Jie, Director of the Education and Industry of Guizhou Minzu University, attended the event.

At the meeting, the teachers and students of the camp watched the propaganda film of Guizhou Minzu University, and the Taiwan Xiande Xifu Culture and Education Foundation donated books to the library of our school. Cai Mengjian, a Taiwanese teacher at the Law School of Guizhou Minzu University, shared the experience of working and living in Guizhou with the teachers and students on the spot.
Li Dingyang from Chung Yuan Christian University in Taiwan said that this was the first time that he came to Guizhou and was attracted by the cool climate and fascinating scenery. Guizhou Minzu University has a beautiful campus environment. This trip to the campus has seen many ethnic handicrafts and a deeper understanding of Guizhou ethnic culture.
The Taiwan University Student Training Camp was organized by the China Vocational Education Society to strengthen cross-strait exchanges, further enhance Taiwanese youth’s understanding of the mainland and the Chinese nation’s identity, and united with the Taiwan Xiande Xifu Cultural and Cultural Foundation. The 10th Taiwan University Student Training Camp visited our school, which not only promoted the exchanges and cooperation between our school and Taiwan's vocational education, but also laid the foundation for cross-strait university students to learn and exchange with each other in the future.
