The foreign teachers sampled the moon cakes, experienced the Bao silk dolls, and felt the Chinese traditional culture

On the afternoon of September 21, the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation organized foreign teachers to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day.

Director Zeng Li and Deputy Director Xie Jinfang of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation sent festival greetings and best wishes to foreign teachers respectively, and narrated the origin and history of the Mid-Autumn Festival, a traditional Chinese festival. It is hoped that foreign teachers would experience Guizhou's unique food culture and the strong festival atmosphere in China through this activity.

The foreign teachers tasted on cakes, experienced the wrapping “Siwawa” which was a traditional local food, and felt the Chinese traditional culture.

 

Foreign teachers were delighted to be able to take part in the event. “We can make and taste Guizhou cuisine together, experience the traditional Chinese culture, and know the profound connotation of Chinese festivals.” Foreign teachers hoped that they could have more opportunities to participate in such festival activities in the future.
